such a fine mellow mind
with the lights shining brighter
with the whisperin'  pines
all but gone in the havoc
all but raised in the storm
almost killed in the Deadlock
almost pale uniform

hurry hurry Pretty Baby
give me back my old wig
give me tears and later, maybe
I will sing of stones and sticks
If for once you could believe me
we could sing and dance again
they will talk 'bout Jane and Jimmy
and the gossip will never end
